The Death of a culture
Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve always dreamed of living in the olden days. My brothers and I used to play cowboys and indians, imagining we did not live in this modern world. Now that I am older, I have become closer to this dream and the way of life that others call cowboys and cowgirls. Living in a log cabin, riding horses, roping cows, living a life that I and many others wish to preserve. I try to represent this in this art piece “The Death of a Culture” by portraying a city barging in on a peaceful country scene. I used natural material and colors to show the beauty that we are ruining. For the city I made a broad wave of colossal buildings over taking the countryside.
FRom work to art
This piece was inspired from work. One of my jobs is at my families construction company, so with wood and screws always laying around, I decided to make something eye appealing out if it.
Western jewelry
Going along with a western theme I made these rings to show a handmade metal smithing artwork. I used a western tooling pattern which is usual in saddle leather. Along with the rings I made a Native American bracelet to show the beauty of the natural wild west.
